We have been engaging Comfort Matters for our HVAC maintenance, plumbing needs. In the last 3 years, their technicians have come out for tune up and maintenance of our home systems. I would say the engagement has been absolutely fantastic. It’s very easy to schedule with them, they send out prompt communication about the time, the bio of their technicians, an email invoice and worksheet of their job. Comfort Matters is the best HVAC company I've worked with.John R. was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issues he saw during the furnace tune up and answered all my questions. He noticed things missed by another tech from another company and didn't tell me I needed to replace my furnace like the other tech did. Just need a few repairs and tweaks. My technician, Nic Stoddard, did a wonderful job, very professional. Knew exactly what he was doing, was timely, professional, polite, courteous and did an overall exemplary job. Explained everything he did and what he recommended for the future and sent me an email with quotes for a possible new water heater we discussed along with photos of everything he did which made me feel very safe that my furnace is now running at peak efficiency. Will be hiring comfort matters in the future as well. I thought the text before he arrived with Nic's bio was pretty cool. Had a furnace and ac tune up as part of my maintenance plan. Took 2 1/2 hrs never adjusted the burn of the furnace or measured it. Last yr sold me an auto igniter to $400 at over priced and this year tried to tell me lots is wrong with my system trying to up sell me.Horrible experience. Asked about replacing a thermostat with a new one I purchased and install the c wire adapter I bought. - total effort is connect 4 wires to the thermostat and 4 to the adapter. Price quote for 10 -15?min of labor $350. I will never use them for any work!Update, I just have my furnace tuned up by the firm that I have used for many years.They adjusted the burn checked everything. It is working fine. No need for any of workI personally installed the thermostat. No additional work was required. The C wire was available and it took less than 15 to install and program. The technician was conveniently wrong!

I recently switched to Comfort Matters from a competitor and have been happy with the change so far.9/25/2025 update: Lyndon and Drew installed an additional return, whole home dehumidifier, electronic air cleaner, and HEPA bypass. They answered my questions and did a great job keeping me in the loop on duct routing, etc.

18 Years ago Comfort Matters saved us from carbon monoxide poisoning. We are on the plan where they come out every six months to clean and check the furnace and a/c. Great / honest service. Very respectful employees. Because the furnace is 18 years old and the a/c is 26 years old it is time to put a new system in. The furnace displayed a very small crack. I have no worries putting the new system in, Plus they have saved me money advising on all the discounts and rebates out there.Thank you Corey and his team.

Wes was able to pinpoint the culprits of my furnace and water heater problems on first visit (it was not easy, btw), and fixed them on subsequent appointments (special order parts were needed, thus slight delay), while providing detailed explanation of the work to be done and the reasons for it (with a walk-through and pointing to evidence of the problems; he also provided his expert opinion and offered several options for solution). More so, he went far beyond expected to investigate a noise problem in vent ducts, and found a solution yet again!I believe that Wes is a true professional who really cares about quality of his work, and I can wholeheartedly recommend his services. Thank you, Wesley!Comfort Matters pricing policies are very reasonable: no "hourly charge" BS on a service call - only flat fee, and technician is there to find the root cause of the problem for as long as it takes; same applies to repair work - exact estimate upfront, no gimmicks, no extra charges, no push to sell you something that you do not really need. Personally, I think that it is an indication of professionalism and commitment to providing good and honest service - a rare quality nowadays.Draw your own conclusions, but if/when HVAC-related problem happens in my house again, I will be calling Comfort Matters!March 17, 2025: problem with the heater. Technician was dispatched same day, no exuberant fees,; found the problem and fixed it in under an hour. Did other checkups and AC prep and fix as well, worked overtime. Seriously, I am paying them, and they did not pay me to leave this review - just my appreciation of quality work and quick response.2025-09-17 - Chad was here to perform regular tune-up and inspection of the furnace. Did a great job, no complaints whatsoever, even made friends with my dog and one of my cats. And I must say that I am paying CM $15.99 a month as a "preferred customer", but I can honestly say that it is a good deal, with free furnace tune-up and ac cleaning twice a year, plus discounts - and NO, this is not an advertisement, just and honest opinion of a happy customer... believe it or not, your choice - but I am sticking with Comfort Matters for foreseeable future.

We called Comfort Matters to come out and just do a general tune-up on our aging 20 year old system as it had been about 5 years since last checked, with the primary concern being the A/C unit. Included in the A/C check was a full system check that Comfort Matters was running this month as a special for no extra charge.John Reiter did an excellent job checking out our system, and was very thorough. Afterwards, he explained to me on what his findings were and took the time to elaborate on any questions that I had. He gave several options of maintaining the existing equipment to keep it in operation, and he also indicated that Comfort Matters can do a full replacement if needed. I appreciate how this was approached by John as he did not try to push any service too hard.I would definitely recommend the inspection service again...some of the components that John reported were beginning to show signs of concern can be addressed by myself, and it is extremely helpful having an expert do a write-up.When it comes time to fully commit to a new system, I will highly consider Comfort Matters.

He did all of his checks, then reviewed everything with us. THIS is why we stick with Comfort Matters. Great service from great folks, like Lyndon.Here is why we keep coming back to Comfort Matters: THEY CARE. Every interaction with the Comfort Matters team is polite and professional. We have them do semi-annual checkups on our system, and we have had them replace our AC. Today, we had them replace our furnace.
