I live in a townhome with a shared wall and the pressure reducing valve that sits on top of the water line servicing my unit and my neighbors unit no longer functioned. This caused the water pressure in our units to spike over 90psi. Nick explained all of this to me and what potential issues can arise with water pressure at that level. He quoted me a very fair price to replace the pressure reducing valve and to also add an expansion tank, which is recommended. The repair was the responsibility of the Homeowner's Association and unfortunately they choose to hire their vendor to complete the repair.
I informed other residents of the water pressure issue and it turns out that most all of the units in this community have excessive water pressure and will need to have their valves replaced. Without Nick's expertise, the entire community would not realize we have this serious issue that requires timely attention. “Had a Tech. j Tripp check water softner 8-17-2026 in Maple Grove and he said new softer needed and quoted ridiculous price of $3,700 to replace!! He then said he could do for $3,300 !! I told my daughter to pay him the $89 trip charge& I told him NO WAY !!! I called “Joe” from another plumbing firm in Maple Grove- he had my daughter OVER THE PHONE POUR MORE WATER IN TANK, stir up with a stick and had her push needed buttons to regenerate. UNIT NOW WORKING FINE!! A year ago, I had another tech you dispatched try selling me a new furnace (present one 6 years old)!! Later your Tech Kyle actually knew what he was doing and got furnace operating perfectly as it needed air!! I BEGAN WITH YOUR FIRM AS WRIGHT/Hennepin ELECTRIC WAS USING YOU FOR SERVICE——— I AM NOW CONVINCED YOUR TECHS ARE ON A COMMISSION AND SIMPLY OVERSELL!!!”
