Comfort Matters provides excellent service always! Chad Dotzler visited our home to do our annual AC tuneup. Chad was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He gave us some good tips on keeping the furnace filter frame clean and keeping the outdoor pipes protected from birds and installing a cleanser pad in the drip tray for the AC evaporator coils.

We’ve used this business for installing a new furnace (Lyndon and Bradley) and an AC tuneup (John R.). Every technician has been friendly, professional and helpful in explaining every step of the process. The office is great at communication and being proactive with scheduling. If you are in the northwest or west TC metro and are in the market for an HVAC replacement you need to reach out to Comfort Matters. You will not regret it. I'm glad I did as they did the best job analyzing what system fit my needs and budget. They also back what they sell you with a 12 month guarantee!!!! This allows us to try the system during all 4 Minnesota Seasons! No other HVAC company offered us that peace of mind. Sales (Brandon) was professional and courteous and took time to ensure I was getting all the information I needed to make the best decision for our home. The instillation team led by Taylor did an outstanding job installing the system. He made sure to explain the process and answered all my questions. As a buyer of an HVAC system I know that installation is the most important part of this process. A bad installation (offered by some cheap companies) will cost you in the long run with a troubled system.Go with a company that is acknowledged by the HVAC equipment manufacturer as a certified distributor. Comfort Matters has that with Daikin (Daikin Comfort Pro). This means they have taken the extra training and education needed for proper installation and maintenance of the Daikin system.If you read all of this and are in the market, do your home a favor, call them. You will not regret it.

I had an AC checkup thru the Sunshine Club. Troy was very friendly and professional. He removed a mouse skeleton from the unit and replaced my long hose in my garage better than I do! I can't say enough that if you have HVAC issues, call Comfort Matters. You won't be sorry!

Excellent company called them and they came out same day and you speak with a live person on the phone no leaving messages. They send you a photo and info on person coming to your house and they call you to let you know when to expect them. I had Lyndon out he was super nice and very good at explaining and showing things to you. Very good at giving his opinion a little bit of pressure for buying but that’s to be expected given it is a sales position. He is not overly pushy and was very friendly and polite! Would recommend

An edit to my previous review: Nothing has changed. Yesterday, it was over 80° with humidity lingering around 78 or so in our home despite AC being set to68° and also having a humidity control system in our home!We were last told we now need new and larger sized ducts as well as additional vents. They also wanted to set the unit out of specs, which I’m sure would null the manufacturer warranty!Very sad when a much older unit cooled the home much better than a unit less than 2 years old.Also pretty sad that the ducts weren’t assessed and if work there needed to be done prior to install we weren’t made aware!This company is grasping at straws at this point because they do not want to be accountable for the unit not living up to what they said it would.Currently in the process of getting additional opinions and will go from there!Initial Review: Purchased new AC and furnace in August of 2023. Have had nothing but problems since!The AC does not cool our home in the least and our home is always hotter than it is outside. For example….it is currently after 2AM and our home is currently at 78° while it is less than 70° outside.We have kept up on maintenance and have called Comfort Matters out multiple times every summer!Last summer, they finally found that whoever originally installed the system left the paperwork attached the inside and that was causing airflow problems. Had to call them out again last summer because the system still was not keeping up and was told to do an air duct cleaning for around $1,000.Overall very frustrating given the cost of the new unit, the fact that our previous unit that was much older cooled our home significantly better prior to going out in the middle of a heat wave in 2023 and we have gotten nothing but the runaround since purchase and installation as well as nothing but excuses from this company as to why our new unit has NEVER worked!The unit isn’t even 2 years old and we’ve had to call this company out every summer since installation with no resolution. They are coming out again tomorrow and I’m sure it will be a waste of our time and our family will continue to suffer in summers :/

Our system died on a Thursday, they had a representative out to see what the issue was on Friday, an associate out on Saturday to quote us on a new system that they installed on Wednesday. He explained everything he was doing, showed me what needed replacing and always asked if I had any questions. Extremely friendly, professional, and respectful of my home. Lyndon cleaned up when all was done and it looked better than before he arrived. My air conditioning unit now looks brand new again. I am so glad I contacted Comfort Matters. They were the third plumbing company I contacted in my search for information on Reverse Osmosis Systems vs. a whole house carbon filter in addition to needing help with a leaky kitchen sink faucet. Comfort Matters was able to get a plumber out the next day. We met with Jimmy D. He arrived promptly. He was professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He did a great job helping us understand the pro's and con's of ROS vs. carbon filter. Jimmy also tested our water and showed us a chart on the amount of chlorine the City of Rogers adds to our water (it was crazy high). Based on the info Jimmy shared and his expertise, it was easy to make the decision to move forward with having him install a new whole house carbon filter / softener combo system. At our request, he gave us tips on trying to fix our leaky faucet ourselves. One last comment is that Comfort Matters offers a great heating/cooling/plumbing membership package that gave us a break in the cost of our purchase/installation. We used Comfort Matters last fall when we needed our furnace and a/c inspected. They did a great job then as well. I highly recommend Jimmy and Comfort Matters.

Great company. My ac died and when I called they rearranged some maintenance calls to come out that day and fix it- it was during the heat dome where real temps were in the 100s. I had a very good experience with Comfort Matters. Chase came out and walked me through options. He was very nice. Answered my questions and was very quick to get back to me. Install crew were very nice as well. I don't know tons about HVAC, but the finished install looks good and you wouldn't have known they were even there after they left.

I had Corey Hickmann perform a furnace inspection this week and he was prompt, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained the importance of carbon monoxide detectors and made a recommendation on what type of furnace filter to buy and how often to change them. Comfort Matters has always provided me with top tier customer service! Highly recommended.
